People with goals succeed because they know where they are going
Diboll High School Juniors plan to succeed because they have set goals for their future. They displayed their goals which were placed under graduation caps on a banner that they designed in observance of the 1st Annual National GEAR UP Day. GEAR UP stands for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs and is a grant program designed to increase the number of students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education. Diboll ISD obtained this grant when this group of Juniors were in Junior High and will follow them through their Senior year and continue to prepare them to obtain their goals set for the future.
