Diboll High School is a 3A school nestled in the piney woods of East Texas with an enrollment of less than 500 students. Diboll High School was identified by US News and World Reports as one of America's Best High Schools in 2007. We have the best student to teacher ratio in Angelina County and a multitude of programs to meet student needs. Tutorials are available before and after school for all subjects. DHS values parent involvement and provides connectivity via the internet. Parents have access to grades, attendance and discipline 24 hours a day via Student Connect. Parents also have an opportunity to join parent organizations such as PTSA and various booster clubs. The goals of our campus are simple, ensure student safety and accelerate learning. The course offerings are diverse and innovative. A vast number of technological courses, college prep courses, concurrent or dual college classes, AP courses, articulated courses and level-one certification courses are offered. We have continuously excelled in college entrance scores and received the 2007 College Readiness Award from ACT. Our vocational programs provide our students with a marketable skill that will last a lifetime. The DHS Athletic Department offers a variety of sports for young men and women. The program is shrouded in a rich tradition of winning. The focus of all sports is on building character, a desire to win and confidence in our students through self discipline and motivation. All athletes know that success in the classroom must be mastered prior to any participation in extra-curricular activities. The coaching staff and faculty work together to produce a well rounded student and citizen. Our athletic department opens its' doors to the fans, parents and students.
